Mission Statement & Brief History

Rev. Dr. Gwendolyn Farrell is passionate to see the generations rise up in prophetic prayer and worship which captures the heart of God according to Isaiah 54:13.

Dr Farrell received inspiration from the Holy Spirit to start Gwen’s Voice of Faith in Prayer through a dream. She recounts seeing the entire state of Massachuttes lit up by an extremely bright, supernatural light, engulfing the entire state, especially the city of Boston. She heard a voice saying “Who will go with us?”

The Spirit of the Lord took her off running towards the sound of the voice and when she arrived at the scene, she saw four supernatural beings that looked like generals dressed in army regalia with crowns on their heads. They were so tall that her head reached their ankles when she stood close to them. She recalls seeing their feet joined together so that you couldn't get between them as they surrounded the entire state of Massachusetts in a North-South-East-West compass position, and the voice came again saying, “Who will go with us?”

Then immediately there was a sword placed in her right hand. As she held the sword people were coming from everywhere, gathering to join the four generals and a sword was also given to them as they answered the call.

Oftentimes when prophetic dreams occur the Spirit of the Lord will back this up with scripture. The Holy Spirit gave Dr. Farrell Ezekiel Ch 9. This scripture gave her the mandate to send warning to the nations that it is time to pray, and that we need to be marked by the blood of Jesus. Joel 2:15 further fortifies the call to prayer by blowing the trumpet in Zion and sounding the alarm. The final scriptural confirmation is the Gideon experience found in Judges 7:17 - 22, with shining the light over the city, where One light shines on another until all is lit. This reflects carrying the light of God’s word through prayer and intercession, where prayer is a lamp that will never go out. Isaiah 60:1 says, “Arise and shine for thy light has come and the glory of the lord has risen upon thee. Jesus is the way the truth and the light, so we pray the word of God in faith believing over the nations.

The Voice Of Faith In Prayer reaches a global audience and the impact is tangible. Every week the power of God’s presence can be felt and confirmed by testimonies that come out of encounters and experiences shared following these sessions.

Dr. Farrell’s vision is to advance the message of faith in God through praying the will of God, and her mission is to raise up an end-time generation as prayer warriors in every nation. She firmly believes 2 Tim 3:16-17 that All scripture is given by the inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness (17) that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
